Matt & Meera: East Meets Hoboken
Branding for a new take on Indian Cuisine
A different kind of Indian Restaurant came to Hoboken, one that reinterpreted classic Indian dishes, and American favorites, with the flavors and ingredients of South West Asia. The branding, which received an “A-Plus” review on Yelp!, mirrored the experience — casual, urban, and sophisticated, with a twist. Matt & Meera quickly became a local favorite and a welcome addition to the Hoboken community.
Social Media content, including a “Taste Test” video, content that featured a look “behind the scenes”— the Tandoori Chef is a former Buddhist monk named Karma — and local events, position matt & meera as a part of the Hoboken Community.
Email and print ads extended the “brand personality,” and email marketing created a higher profile.
